Three ritualists have been arrested by the Nigerian Police in the
Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The men, Uluko Adukwu, 28, Salisu Aduh, 38, and Adams Halilu, 24 were apprehended after a team of detectives stormed their hideout in Jikwoyi, a surburb in the FCT. The three young men were accosted and in their custody were two 11 and 13 year old boys suspected to be their victims.
The Zone 7 Abuja Public Relations Officer, SP Istifanus Sunday Bako announced the arrest in a statement on Thursday.
Bako’s press’s release revealed that the gang confessed to using charms to defraud people and giving charms to internet fraudsters who perform rituals, aka Yahoo Plus.
The police also said that fraudsters in turn use the charms on their targets, sometimes resulting in the death of some of the victims.
Three empty caskets, one Toyota Prado, one Lexus 330 Car, and 15 mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.
