Force PRO unveils identities of three police officers caught on video slapping man and rough handling wife on highway in Rivers

On Tuesday, the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police, Muyiwa Adejobi, unveiled the identities of the three police officers who were allegedly involved in the slapping of a man on a highway in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The incident, which was caught on video and circulated on social media, sparked widespread condemnation.Adejobi revealed that the officers in question were Inspector Adejoh Siaka, Inspector Friday Obaka, and Sergeant Ndiwa Kpuebari.

He further disclosed that the officers were brought to the Force Headquarters in Abuja to face the Inspector General of Police committee.

Following their appearance before the committee, they are expected to face an orderly room trial, which will commence tomorrow.Adejobi took to his Twitter handle to share the photograph and names of the arrested officers, assuring the public that they will be updated on the progress of the case.

The display of the officers’ identities is a clear indication of the Nigerian Police Force’s commitment to holding its officers accountable for their actions.
