The Chinmark Group CEO, Ijiomah Marksman Chinedu, has been declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force for an alleged investment fraud worth N480 million.
According to a special police gazette bulletin, Ijiomah is wanted for cyber fraud, money laundering, and obtaining money under false pretences.
The Magistrate Court of Lagos issued a warrant of arrest/bench warrant for Ijiomah, and he is expected to appear before the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Interpol, at Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The police declaration came after a petition by Chive GPS, a dispute resolution company that offers debt recovery solutions and strategic services in Nigeria. The company acted on behalf of a client who had sent N480,013,000 into multiple bank accounts controlled by Ijiomah.
