Oyo Pacesetters Transport Service Launches O'Health Platform for Mobile Health Delivery
The Chairman of Pacesetter Transport Service, Dare Adeleke, has launched the O’health platform to improve the health sector in Oyo State, in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s efforts.
The platform will allow staff members to access healthcare and consultation services from anywhere in the world using their mobile phones. Adeleke explained that he decided to extend the free healthcare service already available to his company’s staff to the O’health platform. The Commissioner for Health, Bode Ladipo, commended the initiative and stated that the state’s Ministry of Health would replicate the model. The launch was chaired by the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, who described the platform as critical and urged drivers to prioritize their health.
