Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide, a member of the House of Assembly representing the Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Chief Bayo Lawal following the passing of his wife, Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Oke-Lawal.
In his message, Olajide, affectionately known as Odidiomo, described Justice Oke-Lawal’s death as a significant loss not only for the Lawal family but for the people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, while recognizing her remarkable contributions to the legal profession and her unwavering commitment to justice:
“Experiencing the loss of a loved one is one of life’s most profound sorrows,” Olajide stated. “At this difficult time, I extend my deepest sympathies to my brother, friend, and colleague, Chief Bayo Lawal, on the loss of his cherished wife.”
Odidiomo reminded Chief Lawal to take comfort in the knowledge that Justice Oke-Lawal lived a life rich in purpose and service. “She was a dedicated legal luminary who tirelessly championed justice and fairness,” he emphasized.
“Justice Oke-Lawal will be remembered not only for her intellectual brilliance and professional accomplishments but also for her kindness, virtue, and the love she showered on her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her.”
As he reflected on her legacy, Olajide concluded, “While we mourn her loss, I pray that God grants Chief Lawal and his family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.”
