Temi Nkem has emerged winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, tagged “Show Ya Sef”, after outlasting 23 other housemates over 70 days.

The 21-year-old was announced winner at the grand finale on Sunday. Aikou and Sheba finished as first and second runners-up respectively.

She was one of 24 housemates who entered the house when the season premiered on July 26. The winner’s package is reportedly worth ₦160 million, comprising cash, a car or SUV and other prizes from sponsors.

Born and raised in London, Temi has Nigerian roots and is associated with Delta State. Before the show, she was a student and lifestyle content creator whose online videos centred on shopping and luxury. In the house, she stood out for her outspoken personality, confidence and distinctive British accent, and her supporters adopted the name “Teminators”.

One of her most talked-about moments came during a fake eviction towards the end of the season. Rather than looking distressed, she smiled, waved and said “Chakam”, a reaction that quickly became a talking point among viewers.

Temi secured her place in the finale after Barry used his Ultimate Veto Power to activate “Immunity for All”, which cancelled that week’s eviction and public vote.

The finale featured a series of evictions before the final three emerged. Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia were among those evicted during the live show, leaving Temi, Aikou and Sheba to compete for the grand prize.

At the end of the voting, Temi was declared winner.
