The scoundrel of Ekiti has started again. One is forced to ask – when will Ayo Fayose stop being a political and social misfit, peddling reckless and irresponsible lies?

Nigerians woke up to yet another fabrication from this eager propagandist, a willing megaphone for Tinubu’s camp, alleging on his X handle that Governor Makinde “is plotting” to remove the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja. Such a claim is not only false, it is malicious. Fayose’s mind appears perpetually tuned to the discordant frequency of mischief and distortion. That a grown man and former governor could conjure such a baseless fantasy speaks volumes about the depth of his desperation and the poverty of his judgment.

What the political urchin, either does not know, or deliberately conceals from his half-informed followers – is that the Governor and the Olubadan maintain a direct and cordial line of communication. Matters of that nature are handled with discretion, not broadcast through the gutter politics of a serial attention-seeker like Fayose.

One must also ask – what business is it of Fayose whether the Olubadan was present at a coronation of High Chiefs? Has Ibadan suddenly become an extension of Ekiti, or is this yet another failed attempt to insert himself into a space where he has neither relevance nor credibility? Having been politically rejected in his own state, he now appears to be shopping for validation in Ibadan.

For the benefit of this political jester, the people of Ibadan are far too discerning to swallow such crude falsehoods. They recognise propaganda when they hear it, especially when it emanates from a source so deeply associated with duplicity and controversy. A bastard, whose own mother rejected him.

Fayose

Fayose would do well to redirect his energies toward more pressing personal concerns, rather than manufacturing crises where none exist. Nigerians are increasingly weary of recycled actors and Tinubu boys, who mistake noise for relevance and falsehood for strategy.

Enough of the lies.
