Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed the death of its spokesman, General Ali Mohammad Naini, following an airstrike amid the intensifying conflict in the Middle East.

In a statement, the IRGC said Naini was killed in what it described as a “cowardly terrorist attack” carried out by U.S. and Israeli forces at dawn.

Iranian state media also reported the killing on Friday, marking another high-profile casualty in the ongoing war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

Naini, who served as the Guards’ spokesperson and deputy head of public relations, had shortly before his death insisted that Iran remained capable of producing missiles and vowed the country would continue its military campaign.

His killing underscores a sharp escalation in hostilities, with key Iranian military and political figures increasingly targeted in a widening air campaign.

The broader conflict has triggered rising tensions across the region, with repeated strikes, counterattacks, and growing concerns over global energy security and stability in the Gulf.
